Happy Birthday Zackery!

Hard to believe my baby boy is 11 years old today. He was 1 when I picked him up at the orphanage. Time sure does have a way of passing quickly! Happy Birthday Zackery!! You are a sweet, kind hearted young man and I look forward to seeing what the year hold for you:)

Pinch Me....

Pinch me, I am in denial... I have a freshman in the house. Me, a mom to a high school freshman! When did I become old enough for this? When did he grow up on me? It was just yesterday I was standing in the International Arrivals Airport in New York waiting on his plane to land so I could hold him for the first time. I know I will blink and he will be graduating and heading off to college:(.

This picture was snapped last week at his freshman orientation. We were looking over his schedule.....

For our 20th wedding anniversary gift, John brought me to the Virgin Islands for a week. While our anniversary isn't until November, we decided to come during the summer so the kids could stay with my in-laws and brother-in-law. The following picture is the view from our condo room.

School Baseball

Seth played middle school baseball this year and really enjoyed it. They had a new baseball coach who actually let them practice the game instead of spending the whole time exercising. As a result, the team had a winning season.....yay

This is the "official" picture of his 8th grade season. As usual, he did not smile....sigh. But I do know he is looking older, he has suddenly started looking like a teenager:(. I so wish my little boy was back. Don't get me wrong, he is a great kid, I just want time to slow down! He starts high school this fall.....HIGH SCHOOL! I am so not ready for that. Next thing I know he will be heading off to college.....

Moose Soccer

It is always hard for me to find stamps that I like that will work for young boys. So when I seen this moose stamp I just had to have it. I think it will work for young boys and even teens! Can't beat that:)

This is also the first card I have used a white pen to outline with and I love how it turned out. Just adds that little extra to the card.....

Girl Scouts

Saturday was the Cookie Carnival for the local Girl Scout troops to kick off cookie sales. Ciah decided she wanted to attend. Being the awesome mother I am (cough, cough) I took her. Needless to say, she had a blast and won a few prizes to boot:)

Championship Game

Sunday was the Senior League Championship Baseball game. Seth was on one of the teams that played and they WON!! Needless to say, he was pretty excited about the win
